Kate qualified as an RVN in 2014 and has spent time in a range of small animal, farm and equine practices. In 2016 Kate joined a first opinion and referral hospital working as an orthopaedic nurse and gained her advanced diploma in Veterinary Nursing alongside her deputy head nurse role.
Alongside her tutor position, Kate works for the RCVS helping with university accreditations and as a locum nurse at practices around the country.
In her spare time, Kate can be found in the garden with her working cocker spaniels and showing her chickens at national poultry shows
