Alice qualified as a RVN over 25 years ago and has had lots of experience in veterinary nursing including working with exotics, large animals, horses, and small animals in both first opinion and referral hospitals. She also has an advanced diploma in veterinary nursing.
Alice is dividing her time between teaching veterinary nursing and working as an emergency and critical care nurse. She has a special interest in transfusion medicine and has an advanced certificate in transfusion medicine nursing and has also worked for the Pet Blood Bank UK.
At home Alice has 2 lurchers, several guinea pigs, a tortoise and tropical fish. She enjoys kayaking and walking and on quieter days reading and sewing.
